Catherine D. (Goulet) Cote, age 68, most recently of Cumberland, formerly of Taunton and Berkley, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at the Mariam Hospital in Providence.
Born in Taunton, MA on August 31, 1953, she was a loving daughter of the late Norman and Rita (Gagner) Goulet.
Cathy grew up in Taunton and was a graduate of Taunton High School. A resident of Cumberland since August 2021, she had worked in the floral department at Trucchi’s Supermarket in Taunton.
Cathy loved spending time amongst family and friends. Her hobbies included playing poker and cribbage and she was an avid and loyal fan of the Boston Red Sox.
She was the devoted mother of the late William Cote and Frank Cote. She was the dear sister of the late Andrew Goulet, Ronald Goulet and Louise Pineo. She is survived by her adoring nieces Mellisa Broomhead and her husband Robert of Taunton and Tammy Ahearn and her husband Douglas of Cumberland. She was the cherished sister-in-law of Louise Bourque of Taunton.
A graveside funeral service will be held at the Cedar Knoll Cemetery, 175 Staples Street in East Taunton at a later date and time to be announced.
