Francisco L. Orellana, 72, of Worcester passed away Sunday, February 13th at home surrounded by his family. He leaves a son, Jose Aguilar and his wife, Kelly Cordova of Worcester; five daughters, Erika Orellana and her husband, Miguel of Worcester, Leni Contreras and her husband, Milton of Worcester, Maylucy Elizabeth Orellana Perez, Fredisvinda de jesus Reyes Orellana, and Veronica del carmen Reyes Orellana all of El Salvador; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was born in San Julian, El Salvador the son of the late Alberto and Jesus (Martinez) Orellana. Francisco recently retired from his job as a machine operator at F&M Tool and Plastics Inc. He enjoyed fixing cars, gardening, and listening to music in his free time. His family called him the “utility man” as he was a jack of all trades. Francisco loved spending time with his family and was a member of New Wine Christian Center in Worcester.
His calling hours are Thursday, February 17th from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a service starting at 7:00 P.M. Burial will be Friday, February 18th in Notre Dame Cemetery. The family will gather at 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home and the procession will be departing the funeral home at 11:00 A.M. O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME is assisting the family with arrangements.
