Miss. Lorna F. Whiting, 79, of Rockland, passed away on January 26, 2022 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. The daughter of the late Lorne Whiting and Barbara (Griswold) Curtis she was born in Lynn, MA and had been an area resident all her life. Miss. Whiting lived at the Wrentham State Hospital then moved to Mental Clinical Care. After leaving there she moved to Road to Responsibility where she lived for 18 years. Before moving to the Group home in Rockland. Miss. Whiting is pre-deceased by her parents, and her brothers Robert Whiting, Gary Whiting and Leonard Shelley. She is survived by five sisters: Nancy and her husband Kenneth Craig, Diana and her husband Bill Hemmel, Jeannie and her husband Paul Zappala, Wendy and her husband Roy Santos, and Cindy Talbot. one brothers: Lorne "Rusty" Whiting and his wife Gail. There are many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her long time care giver and good friend Anne Marie and her husband Zahoor Bajawa.
