Matthew A. Pittman, 40, of Franklin and Mansfield, went to rest with the Lord on Thursday, February 10, 2022.
Born in Framingham, October 7, 1981, the son of Deborah J. (Johnson) Pittman of Franklin and Alfred S. Pittman of Mansfield, Mr. Pittman was a longtime Franklin resident.
Matthew was a graduate of Milford High School. He was a talented salesman who achieved #1 in sales everywhere he worked.
Matt had many hobbies including fishing, boating, gardening and camping. He loved the outdoors, music, and attending concerts.
Matt was an extremely sensitive, sweet and caring soul. He took much satisfaction from helping others and was always there to lend a helping hand.
He will be sorely missed by his parents as well as his brothers Christopher Pittman of Franklin and Timothy Pittman and his wife Aimee of Warwick, Rhode Island.
He is also survived by his nieces and nephew, August, Tobias and Winifred Pittman, as well as by his aunts, uncles, cousins and many good friends.
His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 16 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin. Visitation will be on Wednesday from noon-1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m.
Burial will be in Union Street Cemetery, Franklin.
The wearing of face coverings is required to enter the funeral home.
