Alison Atwood, age 66, of Andover, Massachusetts, passed away following a long illness on February 9, 2022, in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
Alison was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on October 27, 1955, to John and Faith Atwood. After graduating from Andover High School, Alison worked for several years as a filing and mail clerk at St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Andover. She served as a filing assistant at Andover’s Memorial Hall Library, a position she proudly held for 25 years.
Alison had many interests and passions. She loved her family, current events, all New England sports teams, music, and history. She enjoyed attending services at Andover’s South Church. Alison also took pleasure in working on her vegetable and flower gardens.
Alison was predeceased by her parents John and Faith Atwood, her paternal grandparents Carl and Carrie Atwood, and maternal grandparents Joseph and Hope Kerrigan. She is survived by sister and brother-in-law; Andrea and Dana Graichen, sister; Audrey Nicholson, brother and sister-in-law; Dana and Laurie Atwood, and brother and sister-in-law; Christopher and Barbara Atwood. Alison also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and a grandnephew.
