Obituary

Robert S. Nocera, 58, a longtime Tewksbury resident, passed away on Friday, February 4 at home unexpectedly.

He was born in Boston on July 23, 1963 and was a son of Anthony and Evelyn (Robinson) Nocera. He was raised and educated in Tewksbury. For over 30 years he worked as a director in the advertising field.

Bobby was an avid sports fan and ardent supporter of our local teams, especially the New England Patriots. He was also a music lover and could frequently be found front row at an Aerosmith concert.

Bobby’s laugh was infectious and could fill up a room, he will be remembered most for his sense of humor and he will be missed dearly by all who knew him. He was dedicated to all of his children and loved spending time with them. But especially his autistic son Michael, who meant the world to him.

He was generous to fault, he would give even a stranger the shirt off his back. He showed compassion to anyone he encountered and made a difference in the lives of countless others.

Besides his parents, Anthony and Evelyn, he is survived by his 5 children, Anthony Stecchi of Lowell, Nicole Nocera of Boston, Dom Nocera of Nashua, NH, Frank Nocera of Tewksbury, and Michael Nocera of Tewksbury. He is also survived by his wife, Jennifer Nocera of Nashua, NH, his stepchildren, Brittany Belanger of Nashua and Alyssa Interrante of Tewksbury. His siblings, Rita McCabe of Plaistow, NH, Laurie Neilson of Portsmouth, NH, John Nocera of Phoenix, Arizona, Deb Carpenter of NH, Jean McLaren of Massachusetts.

He was also a brother of the late George "Buddy" Nocera.
