WORCESTER___Dominga “Taty” (Valentin) Seda, 58 of Worcester passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022 in St. Vincent Hospital. Her husband, Angel Seda passed away October 7, 2019.
Dominga is survived by her children, Kenneth Seda of Paxton, Jonathan Seda of Worcester, Kidany Valentin of Leicester and Jacqueline Seda of Worcester; six grandchildren that she adored, Hailie, Kidany Jr., Kaiden, Marielee, Jayce and Abree; three daughters-in-law, Eveliz, Echo, and Zuleyka, her mother Carmen Torres; three brothers and two sisters, Carmen Torres – Valentin, Eric Valentin, Jacqueline Torres – Valentin, Miguel Valentin and Jose Torres, nephews and nieces Felix Estrada, Eric Valentin, Caridad Lopez and many other nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her precious dog, Saydee. Dominga was born in Manhattan, New York, and was predeceased by her father, Eustacio Valentin. Dominga has lived in Worcester for many years.
Taty’s passion had always been to care for people. For many years she worked as an essential healthcare worker followed by ten years of fostering children through the Department of Children and Families. She touched and impacted every life she encountered through her words, her love and selfless service.
She was an active member of Kingdom Hall on Franklin St, Worcester. Taty was known as a dedicated follower of Marc Anthony, the artist, finding herself lost in his music. She loved spending time with her family and grandkids; creating countless memories by attending many activities, sports, recitals and graduations. While her children were her life, her grandchildren were the loves of her life. Taty will be remembered for providing advice and guidance to many; including early mornings and late evenings on the phone with beloved siblings, her mother, children and many friends.
