Norman R. Baird, 67, of Raymond, NH, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022, in the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH. He was born in Saint Johnsbury, VT on January 19, 1955, a son of Bert and Doris Keniston.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Faith Baird of Raymond; daughter Jamie Ellsworth and husband Aaron of Laconia, NH; two sons, Sean Nadeau and fiancé Darby Sullivan of Raymond, NH, and Scott Nadeau and wife Liz of Raymond; three granddaughters, Ava Nadeau, Morgan Nadeau, and Ashley Beliveau; four grandsons, Ryan Nadeau, Sam Ellsworth, Dylan Ellsworth and Andrew Rochon; sister, Evelyn Senecal of Newport, VT and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Robert Baird and sisters Lorraine Baird and Thelma Baird.
He graduated from Oxbow High School in Bradford, VT where he was the State champion wrestler. He worked for RH White Construction for 41 years as a supervisor. Retired from the Army National Guard after 25 years of service.
He was a devoted father and papa. He loved seeing all his grandchildren playing in their various sports. Family meant the world to him and would help out anyone in need. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Following cremation there will be no services at this time. The Peabody Funeral Home & Crematorium is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
