NORTH BERWICK - Gloria Jean Cote, age 56, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2022, at the Gosnell House in Scarborough, Maine after a courageous battle of lung cancer.
She was born in Boston, Massachusetts on October 27, 1965, a daughter of the late Wallace G. Smith and Margaret Denbow Green.
The simplest pleasures in life brought Gloria great joy. She loved a quiet evening with friends and family with a cup of coffee in hand.
In her free time, she often explored local thrift shops and yard sales, and found great pride in crafting with her daughter, Johnna. She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her day to day activities.
Her bubbly personality was contagious to everyone she met. She will always be remembered for her infectious laugh and caring heart.
Gloria is predeceased by a brother - Derran Smith.
Gloria is survived by her devoted daughter - Johnna Cote of Limerick, ME and spouse Alex Martin; brother - Shawn Moreau of Sandown, NH; sister - Lori Bailey of Lovell, ME; brother - Thomas Green of Giradville, PA; and many loving cousins.
A private family gathering will be held in the Spring to commemorate a life well lived.
