Pasquale P. "Pat" Cannata, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on Friday, February 4, 2022 at his home in Charlestown. He was 61 years of age.
Pat was born in Boston on April 10, 1960, a son of the late Barbara (Centola) Cannata and Natale Cannata. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1978. Pat worked as a Welder for over 20 years at NEFCO/SYNAGRO, a Waste Management Company in North Andover. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping at Pine Acres in Raymond, New Hampshire or sitting on his recliner at his home watching TV. Family was very important in Pat's life and he enjoyed all the special moments he shared with those close to him.
Pat is the devoted father to Riordan Cannata. He is the loving partner of 33 years to Jackie Sheehan, her 2 children Caitlin and Billy, and he is also the loving Papa to Andrew and Rowan. He is the beloved nephew of Tom and Marie Centola, Marylou Currier, and Vic Centola. He is the brother of Joe Cannata. He is also survived by his many loving cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Pat's Funeral on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 10 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 11 A.M. (FACIAL COVERINGS ARE REQUIRED INSIDE CHURCH). His burial is private. His visiting hours will be on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 4 to 7 P.M. in the funeral home.
