Nasir (Brandon) K. Alves, 43, of New Bedford, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at home. He was the son of Kenny Alves and his wife Deborah of W. Wareham and the late Joyce Hickey.
Nasir was born in New Bedford and had been a lifelong resident of New Bedford. He had worked as an electrician for the Local 103 IBEW Electrical Union, Boston.
Survivors along with his father and step-mother include his son: Darsean I. Alves of New Bedford; 3 daughters: Alejandra Collins-Arandia, Isabella Alves and Lillianna Alves; 2 brothers: Craig Hickey of New Bedford and Aaron K. Alves of Fall River; 3 sisters: Danielle Alves of Bronx, NY, Trina Gula of New Bedford and Tabitha Pendergast of New Bedford; along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation to which relatives and friends are invited will be Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at the Kirby Funeral Home from 4-5 P.M.
Interment will be private.
