Russell L. Colburn, age 58 of Cleveland, Ohio, died January 26, 2022 at the Southwest Medical Center in Cleveland. Russell was born in Brockton, the son of Russell Burr and Patricia Kearns and had lived in Cleveland for the past 24 years.
Russell was a graduate of Brockton High School and enlisted in the US Army after graduation. Russell was a machinist/forger for Howmet Aerospace and a proud member of UAW Local 1050. He was also a real estate broker in Cleveland. In his spare time Russell enjoyed nature, hiking, trips to Cape Cod, fishing and playing poker.
Russell was a very generous and caring man who volunteered his time to feed the homeless. He will be remembered as an easy going, loving and inspirational man.
He is survived by his sister Doreen Rosa of Mansfield, his two nieces Jacqueline Monteiro-Texeira and her husband Kevin, and Amanda O’Connell and her husband Scott, and a nephew Manuel Rosa and his wife Katie as well as several grandnieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (rte. 123) Brockton on Thursday February 10, 2022 from 4-6pm followed by a funeral service.
