Steven P. "Dumpster" Carreiro, 65, of Westport, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the loving husband of Lisa (Rancourt) Carreiro.
Born in Acushnet, son of the late Rudolph P. "Sonny" and Lillian E. (Souza) Carreiro, he was a lifelong resident of Westport. Prior to retirement, he was a truck driver for Colonial Wholesale Beverage, Teamsters Local 59. Mr. Carreiro loved his trucks, Harleys, tractors and his family, especially his granddaughters.
Including his wife, he is survived by a son: Joshua S. Carreiro and his wife Bianca of Westport; a step-son: Adam Middleton of Westport; a brother: Robert A. Gonsalves of Dartmouth; 2 sisters: Lillian M. Cook of Westport and June A. DeAndrade-Audette of Westport; 2 granddaughters: Haylee Carreiro and Storm Middleton; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Mass to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, February 19, 2022 at St. Theresa's Church, 265 Stafford Rd., Tiverton, RI at 10:00 A.M.
