Anna’s love of children brought her to study at David Hale Fanning Trade, graduating in 1981 with a certificate in the Early Childhood Development Program.
Early on Anna worked for Robinson Thread Company in Worcester as a machinist. Eventually she moved onto a new career in retail for Filene’s Basement and was currently a team member for Wal-Mart Inc.
Family was the center of Anna’s world. She was always willing to lend a hand when anyone was in need, be that a ride to school or work or just being there to listen. Her biggest pleasure was spending time with her nieces and nephews when they were young, taking trips to the beach or secret trips to the candy store.
She enjoyed playing bingo with her mother and trips to Foxwoods with her brother. She was an avid fan of all New England sports teams especially the New England Patriots. In her younger years she loved camping and spending time with her maternal grandparents Harvey & Blanche Poulin at their camp site in West Brookfield.
She adored her father and was always referred to as the favorite child. Her family finds comfort in knowing they are now together. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
