Thomas F. "TC" Carroll, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Monday, January 31, 2022, at the Eastpointe Nursing Home in Chelsea. He was 86 years of age.
TC was born in Boston on December 2, 1935, a son of the late Charles Carroll and Elizabeth (Cook) Carroll. He grew up in Charlestown, where he attended St. Mary's Parochial School and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1953. TC worked as a bartender at The Four's in North Station for 20 years. He was an avid Boston sports fan, especially for the Red Sox. He was a member of the Halligan Club and the Old Charlestown Schoolboys Association. He loved his family above all else.
TC is the beloved husband of 54 years to the late Patricia S. "Mazzie" (Hagerty) Carroll. He is the devoted father of Colleen Marrocco and her husband Dana of Woburn, Thomas Carroll and his wife Karen of Stoneham, and John Carroll and his wife Jacqueline of Foxboro. He is the loving "Dar" of Dana and Devin. He is the beloved brother of Annmarie Campbell and her husband Donald, and the late James "Buddy" Carroll, Charles Carroll, Eleanor Riley, and Mae Gray. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend TC's visiting hours on Saturday morning February 5, 2022 from 8:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11 A.M. in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown(MASKS ARE REQUIRED INSIDE OF CHURCH). His burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
