Annette S. Gassett of Blackstone, Mass. passed away on January 29, 2022 at the age of 93.
Born in Wayland, Mass, she was the daughter of the late Celia (LaCroix) and Willard Bagster. She was the wife of the late Robert M. Gassett and the loving mother of Nancy Giambusso and son-in-law John, and David Gassett. Annette leaves her cherished grandchildren Kristen Giambusso and her husband Nick Anastas, Nicole Giambusso and her husband Ryan Bennett, and Anthony Giambusso and his fiancee Francesca Gacho, along with her great-grandchildren, Gemma and Marlowe. She also leaves her godchild Sharon Gagne and her siblings Lorraine Palanzi and Shirley Thames and her sister-in-law Beverly Bagster. She is predeceased by her brothers Billy, Bob, and Dick Bagster and her sister, Barbara Nickerson. She leaves many beloved nieces and nephews.
Annette lived in Framingham, Mass. for most of her life. She worked in healthcare and childcare, and up until her death she remained in close contact with the families of children to whom she had provided care. Annette loved to dance. She and her late husband were beautiful ballroom dancers and spent many happy hours on the dance floor. She also loved to decorate and enjoyed fixing up and coordinating her home decor. She enjoyed the beach and spent many younger days in Brant Rock, Maine and Nantasket Beach with family and friends. Annette always had a positive attitude. She was thoughtful, caring and giving, and was always happy to help someone out if she could.
