Frederick J. Kasprzyk, Jr. 67 of Peabody and formerly of Salem, passed away unexpectedly at the NSMC / Salem Hospital Thursday evening, January 27, 2022. He was the devoted husband of Diane M. (Levesque) Kasprzyk with whom he share 48 years of marriage.
Born and raised in Salem, he was the son of the late Frederick J. and Celina R. (Bernard) Kasprzyk. Following his graduation from Salem High School Class of ’73, he began working as a cook for Salem Hospital. Prior to his retirement, due to health issues, he worked as a maintenance mechanic for several industrial machinery manufacturers.
Fred was most proud of his family and was supportive of their sports events to the extent of coaching them in youth soccer. Although he loved the outdoors, camping and hunting, he was never able to bring home his prey because of his love for animals. He will be dearly missed.
In addition to his wife Diane, he is survived by his son, Jeffrey F. Kasprzyk of Derry, NH and daughter, Amy M. Kasprzyk and her spouse Kelly Kasprzyk of Danvers, his sisters, Patricia Kasprzyk and Barbara Osika both of Salem. He also leaves 5 granchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Lynne K. Kasprzyk.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Mass on Monday, February 7, 2022 in St. Thomas the Apostle Church (Route 114) on the Salem / Peabody line at 9:30 AM.
