Mollie Janice “Miss Jan” (Hall) Clark, 90, of Anderson, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022 at Anderson St. Vincent Hospital.
Mollie was born on February 26, 1931 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, the daughter of Robert and Dovie Hall. She relocated to Anderson from Hattiesburg seven years ago. Mollie retired from Kmart where she worked as a greeter for many years and prior to that she had been employed as a school cafeteria worker. She was an active member of Petal Harvey Baptist Church in Mississippi.
She is survived by her son Russ (Tammie Wilson) Clark of Anderson; grandchildren; Julie Clark, Jessica (Brian) Purnell, Justina Combs, Heather (John) Hill-Hart, Jeremy (Natalie) Coppess, Lorin and Courtnie Acree; 20 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mollie was preceded in death by her husband, John Randolph Clark; three children, Stacy Clark, Brad Clark and Kim Clark; sister, Millie Fagan.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 2-4 PM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
Funeral Services and burial in Mississippi will be handled by Moore Funeral Home-Petal Chapel.
