Daniel Julian Timbol, 78, of Palm Coast, FL, formerly of Washington, DC, passed away suddenly on January 16th in Kent Hospital in Warwick, RI. He was the husband of Mary Ellen (Doody) Timbol. They had been married for nearly 53 years.
Danny was born in Washington, DC, to the late Fernando and Ethel (Rittue) Timbol and was a 1961 graduate of Western High School. He had lived in Palm Coast, FL for 16 years previously living in Gaithersburg, MD (27 yrs) and Washington, DC (35 yrs).
He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was stationed at Fort Sill in Lawton, OK. He was a Civil Engineer with the Montgomery County and City of Rockville governments in MD for his entire career.
In addition to his wife he leaves a daughter, Andrea Timbol, of Warwick, RI and he was the grandfather of Madeline, Marleia, and Logan LaTour. He was the father of the late Kristen LaTour and Meredith Timbol.
His funeral was private. A celebration of his life will be held in the spring.
