Worcester – Joan E. Gosselin, 57, of Worcester passed away peacefully in the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence after a short illness on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.
Joan was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Francis L. Gosselin and is survived by her mother, Anne M. (Fontaine) Gosselin; her sister, Susan M. Holmes and her husband, Allen; two brothers, James G. Gosselin and Michael F. Gosselin all of Worcester; her nephews, George Law and his wife, Stacy and Joseph Law; her great nephews and niece, Jacob, Jamison, Alexis and Jayce and her aunt, Gloria Anderson and her husband, Gilbert of Worcester. Joan is predeceased by a sister, Judith A. Law.
Ms. Gosselin graduated from Tahanto Regional High School and worked for over 25 years at the same bank retiring from TD Bank in 2021 due to illness. Joan loved to do history research and could often be found doing genealogy research on her family. She enjoyed reading and spending time in Vermont and was always up for a good story about ghosts.
A private funeral was held with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of the Angels Church, Worcester. Burial was in Notre Dame Cemetery.
