Joseph Nicholas Nasuti, 91, of Franklin died peacefully January 29 at Milford Regional Medical Center with his wife of 63 years, Madeleine R. (Lawrence) Nasuti by his side.
Born in Franklin, February 9, 1930, the son of the late Nicholas and Mary (Scaccia) Nasuti, Joe was a lifelong resident of Franklin.
He had worked for many years at MCI Norfolk/ Walpole, retiring as supervisor of the Water Treatment Plant.
He had been member of the Franklin Knights of Columbus, the Sons of Italy, and had been an usher at St. Mary’s Church for over 25 years and also a Eucharistic Minister.
Joe loved to cook, travel with his wife to the beach and especially take trips to Italy.
He served in the Navy during the Korean War attaining the rank of Seaman First Class.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his siblings, Barbara Rondeau and her husband Roger of Franklin, Robert Nasuti and his wife Marilyn of Marlboro and John Nasuti and his wife Joan of North Port, Florida.
He was the brother of the late Delia DeMase, Ralph Nasuti, William Nasuti and Ronald Nasuti.
Joe is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
His funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 3 in St. Mary’s Church at 12:30. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin.
Face coverings must be worn at both the funeral home and at St. Mary’s Church.
