Garrett J. Piper
Computer Systems Engineer
TEWKSBURY: Garrett J. Piper, age 57, a longtime Tewksbury resident, passed away at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill on Wednesday, January 25, 2022.
Born in Winchester on June 29, 1964, he was the son of Agatha (McMaster) Piper, of Tewksbury and the late Clifford M. Piper.
Garrett was raised in Tewksbury, attended Tewksbury schools, and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School in 1982. Following high school, he took courses at Boston University.
Prior to his illness, he was employed as a Computer Systems Engineer by LogixHealth in Bedford.
Garrett loved his cat, Carmella, and science fiction television and books. He had a green thumb, fantastic memory, wicked sense of humor, distinct laugh, and an eye for fun. He was a true Piper Dink.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two children, Katie M. Piper, of Arcata, CA and Alan D. Piper, of Danvers, their sister, Ashlee Kennedy, of Manchester, NH, their mother Dyan Kennedy, of Danvers, his siblings, Brenda M. Piper and her husband Bradford Ralphes, of Middleton, Denise L. Gundrum and her husband Edwin, of Andover, Eric D. Piper, of Lynnfield, Fern Boeglin and her husband Eugene, of Lexington and Wendy Convery, of Hudson, NH. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
