Timothy L. Brown

TEWKSBURY: Timothy L. Brown, age 59, a longtime Tewksbury resident, formerly of Billerica, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, from a heart related condition.

He was the beloved husband of Amy R. (Byrd) Brown, with whom he would have celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary on April 20, 2022.

Born in Revere on April 23, 1962, he was the son of Patricia (Morgan) (Brown) Young and her husband Robert, and the late Arthur W. Brown, and his wife Lisa.

Tim was raised in Billerica, attended Billerica schools and graduated from Billerica High School in 1980.

Following high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served aboard the U.S.S. Benjamin Stoddert. He was awarded several decorations for his active-duty service including the Naval Battle Award, the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, the Humanitarian Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.

For the past 15 years, Tim worked in the commercial demolition industry and was employed by the Select Demolition Services Company based in Salem, NH.

Tim will fondly be remembered for his love of his wife and children, as well as his gregarious, warm and outgoing personality.

He enjoyed taking drives with family members to Lake Winnipesaukee to check out snowmobiles and equipment, riding, maintaining, and checking out the latest accessories for his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, and following Formula 1 racing.

Recently, Tim and Amy drove cross country to visit the numerous national parks including the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone and the Dakota’s, where Tim was able to visit Sturgis, South Dakota, home of the annual motorcycle rally and Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame.

In addition to his wife and mother, he leaves four children, Mack Brown, Joseph T., Elizabeth M. and Madison L. Brown: one sister, Lauran M. Brown: two brothers, Kevin P. Brown and his wife Kathleen, and Michael W. Brown and his wife Tracy: his beloved auntie, Jacqueline Aurigemma and late uncle Albie Aurigemma. He also leaves his beloved cousins, many nieces, nephews, who meant the world to him. Tim also leaves behind his sister’s-in-law, that he loved and cherished so very much, as well as their husbands, in which he found some of his closest friends.

Calling hours are Wednesday, February 2nd, from 4-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876. His funeral procession will begin on Thursday, February 3rd at 9 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main Street, Route 38, Tewksbury. Interment at Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to an education fund for his children at the Tewksbury Federal Credit Union.
