LEICESTER: Earl L. Millett, 88, of Main Street died Friday, January 28 in his home after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 63 years Pauline R. (Cormier) Millett, a son Timothy E. Millett and his wife Lisa of Leicester, two granddaughters; Brianna & Courtney Millett, best friends Elaine Poirier and Al & Linda Rogers and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers; James, Paul, John & Donald Millett, a sister Theresa Bujnowski and his best friend Leo Poirier.
Earl was born in Cherry Valley, son of James J. and Bernice (Rock) Millett. He served his country during the Korean conflict in the United States Marine Corps. He was a custodian for many years at the Leicester Public Schools. He was an avid coin collector and enjoyed metal detecting, woodworking, crossword puzzles, word jumbles, cash word scratch tickets and spending time with his wife at Foxwoods Casino. The family would like to extend special thanks to Earl's niece Roberta Duprey for all her love, caring and compassion until the end. They would also like to thank the VNA Hospice Care team especially his nurse Mandy, Elder services, meals on wheels and the entire Pepin family.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to VNA Care Hospice and Palliative care, 120 Thomas Street, Worcester, MA 01608. MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester is directing funeral arrangements.
