Nancy Garabedian passed away peacefully at the Massachusetts General Hospital on Wednesday, January 19th following a brief illness. She was 73. Born in Everett and a lifelong resident of Medford, Nancy was the devoted daughter of the late Lawrence and Juliet (Dasho) Garabedian.
Nancy was the dear sister of Gary Garabedian and his wife Cheryl of Billerica. She was the loving aunt of Lee Benigno and her husband Samuel and great-aunt of Kaylee, Noelle and Jake, all of Chelmsford. Nancy is also survived by many cherished relatives, friends, and neighbors.
Nancy was a graduate of Medford High School with the class of 1966. She worked for many years prior to her retirement as a medical assistant for various surgeons and doctors. She was caring and always helped others. Nancy greatly enjoyed time at home with family, friends, and especially her beloved dog Gigi. She always stayed active, enjoyed cooking, music, and cheering on the NE Patriots. Family was very important to Nancy. She was very loved and will be greatly missed.
A short graveside ceremony will be held on Wednesday, February 2nd at 11 AM at Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
