Gloria R. Perry (Celebrase) of Arlington formerly of Medford passed away peacefully at home, with her family by her side, on Tuesday, January 25. She was 92 years old. Gloria was the beloved wife of the late Eugene E. Perry. Born in Somerville, Gloria was the cherished daughter of the late Salvatore and Jennifer (Macaluso) Celebrase.
Prior to her retirement, Gloria worked as a waitress in the restaurant industry. She was an accomplished gardener, spending many long enjoyable hours perfecting her craft. Gloria was a loving mother to her children.
Gloria was the devoted mother of Doris J. Snell and her husband Robert V. Snell Jr. of Arlington and Roberta and her husband Dennis. She is survived by her grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Gloria was the dear sister of Florence Wells of Quincy, the late Mary MacDonald, Eleanor Mountain and the late Robert, Joseph and Salvatore Celebrase. She will also be missed by her beloved cat Ellie.
Visiting hours will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, on Thursday, February 3, from 10AM to 12PM, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home beginning at 12PM. Relatives and friends are cordially invited.
Services will conclude with burial Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
