Everett Mangsen Jr. passed away on January 26, 2022 at the age of 72. He is survived by his three children, Kim Brunnett; Cassandra Bittner and Dana Mangsen; his grandchildren, Tyler, Kyle, Patrick, Hannah, Colin, and Branden; his mother, Mary Mangsen; his sister, Dolores Gribouski and his brother, Russell Mangsen as well as nieces and a nephew. He was predeceased by his father Everett Sr. and his brother and best friend, John.
Everett was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and spoke highly of the various veteran services he received throughout the years. Everett enjoyed a long career in the computer technology field retiring in 2010. During his career he volunteered and secured technology donations for local schools. Everett was the proud rider of Harley-Davidsons and shared many rides with his adult children spending time at several motorcycle rallies. He enjoyed spending time with his family boating, skiing, riding, celebrating holidays, and sharing in cookouts. Everett will be remembered for his hearty laugh. His family wants to thank the staff of Life Care Center of Auburn for their skilled hands and compassionate hearts as they cared for him throughout the past year.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 3-5pm at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester. A funeral service will follow at 5pm in the funeral home.
