Obituary

Richard J. Caron, 85, died on January 24, 2022 at Premier Rehab and Healthcare after a period of failing health. He was born in Manchester on April 27, 1936, the son of Edmond J. Caron Sr. and Pearle Marie (Lariviere) Caron.

Richard grew up and attended school in Manchester, graduating from Central High School. He went on to earn his degree in engineering. He served his country in the United States Marine Corp, 1st Division, 1954-1956 during the Korean War. He continued his service in the Marine Corp Reserves until 1962. Richard worked for OJB Benjamin Engineers, Polazzi Corp, E.V. Delduca, N. Pandelina & Son before his retirement in from Brox Industries, Dracut, MA.

Richard is survived by his loving wife Dorothy– Ann Caron, his children; Ricky (Wendy) Caron of Nashua, Lisa (Gary) Vigneault of Manchester, Randall R. Caron of Salem, Albert (Nicole) Toy– Caron of Sanbornville, Debra– Lee Normand of Nashua and Paul (Elizabeth) Normand Jr of Salem. He will also be deeply missed by his grandchildren; Jesse, Carly, Hunter, Loni, Ryan, Anna, Courtney, Tanner, Erin, Dylan, Aurora, Rosemary, Lavender, Cameron and Thomas, his siblings; Robert J. Caron, Leonard J. Caron, Ralph J. Caron, Phyllis Fredette, Virginia Blank and Linda Caron, sister-in-law Pauline Caron, and his 9 great grandchildren.

Richard is predeceased in death by his first wife Jeanne M. Jodoin, his brothers; Edmond J. Caron Jr., Eugene J. Caron, Edward J. Caron Sr., and a sister, Lena Caron Green.

In Lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made in Richard’s name to the American Alzheimer’s Association, act.alz.org

Services will be held in New Hampshire Veteran’s Cemetery on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 1 pm.
