Obituary

Richard Vincent (Rich) Nevarez, 63, of Camarillo, California, passed away from COVID on January 23, 2022, in Camarillo. Rich was born in Oxnard, California to Richard and Tillie Nevarez on August 17, 1958. He went to high school at Rio Mesa, graduating in 1976. He adored his Calvary Nexus Church family, often greeting at the sanctuary doors with hugs and smiles. With his wife, he supported Ventura County Pregnancy Center. He was like a kid in a candy store whenever he visited thrift stores and the Roger Dunn Super Golf Store in Anaheim.

Rich is survived by his beloved wife Cheryl of Camarillo, his mother Tillie, brothers Frank and Robert, sister Carole, niece Rebecca, nephew Joseph, stepsons Andy and Tim True, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many friends. He is preceded in death by his father Richard on December 29, 2021. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Calvary Nexus Church, 380 Mobil Ave., Camarillo, CA 93010.
