Alice L. (Bissonnette) Britt, 95, of Auburn, formerly of Worcester, died Tuesday, January 25th in the Life Care Center of Auburn. Alice was surrounded by her loving family who most sincerely thank the entire staff for the care and kindness they gave her.
Her husband of 69 years, Philip J. Britt died in 2019. She is survived by her three daughters, Maureen Connors and her husband, Richard of Cherry Valley, Cheryl LaPan and her husband, Richard of South Dennis, Jacqueline Britt of Dudley, her sister, Bertha Nadow of Worcester and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph H. Bissonnette.
Alice was born in Worcester, the daughter of John and Mary (Paré) Bissonnette. Alice worked as an administrative assistant at Anna Maria College and Massad Movers. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Parish, and enjoyed reading and embroidery. Her greatest joy was time spent with family. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her funeral is Friday, January 28th, with her funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Her calling hours will be held Thursday, January 27th from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue.
