Lucille Carol (Cammarata) Balzarini age 80 of Vero Beach FL, formerly of Wrentham, MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 2nd after a long battle with cancer and was surrounded by her loving family. Lucy was the beloved wife of Paul Balzarini, Sr.
She was the daughter of the late Rocco and Frances Cammarata.
She is survived by her three children, Anthony Balzarini and his wife Renée of Franklin, Andrea Vitale of Frankin, Paul Balzarini, Jr. and his wife Kara of Franklin, her five grandchildren Nicholas Balzarini, Olivia Vitale, Sophia Vitale, Griffin Balzarini and Emma Balzarini as well as her sisters Janice O'Donnel and her husband Geno of Vero Beach FL, Kathryn Steele and her husband Robert of Milton, MA, Philip Cammarata and his wife Jeanette of Wilmington, NC. and many nieces and nephews.
Lucy attended cosmetology school then worked as a hairdresser at Louis Beauty Salon. In 1968 she wed the love of her life, Paul. They settled in Wrentham, MA where they raised their three children. In 1988 the couple with their children, opened a pizza shop in Wrentham famously named "Lucy B's" known for their calzone! Lucy loved cooking, taking care of her family, golfing, going to bingo, trips to Foxwoods and card games. Lucy was very artistic and enjoyed painting and creating glass art.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours Tuesday Feb. 1, 2022 in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. from 5-7:30PM.
A prayer service will follow at 7:30PM.
Her interment will take place Wednesday Feb. 2nd, at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA at 11:30AM.
