Randy Kent Closser, 72, of Anderson died unexpectedly due to an automobile accident.
Randy was born August 16, 1949 in Anderson, the son of Jack and Dorothy (Summer) Closser.
He served in the National Guard 151st Airborne Ranger Unit Company D.
He was a truck driver for an Asphalt hauler most of his adult life before retiring in 2013. Randy lived his whole life on the farm and loved to cut and split wood. He was an avid Buick MUSCLE CAR LOVER. He enjoyed drag racing and was a member of Indiana Chapter of G.S.C.A.
He is survived by his wife, Jody (Moorman) Closser whom he married October 25, 1985; three children, Chad Closser (girlfriend Wendy Ford) of Morristown, Tennessee; Craig Closser of Alexandria, Rochelle (Ahmed) Ayoub of Stevenson Ranch, California; sister, Brenda (Allan) Lewis of Markleville; seven grandchildren, Cole, Brock, Tinslie, Elli, Hanna, Layla and Alexa; one niece, Olivia Craig; one nephew, Henry Craig; lifelong friend, Wayne Reagan and special friend, Sean Arnot.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother.
There will be a celebration of life service at a later date.
