LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Suriya Jasmine Khan-Yamani, formerly known as Elizabeth T. Belknap, age 66, of Las Vegas, died, unexpectedly at home in early April, 2006.
Born in Florida, she was the daughter of the late William E. Belknap II and the late Katherine Vandrost Belknap and spent her youth in the Dartmouth area.
A communications worker with A. T. & T., she had resided a number of years in San Antonio, Texas and the last ten years in Las Vegas.
She is survived by her brother, William H. L. Belknap of South Dartmouth and her sister, Pamela W. Belknap of Granby, Connecticut and her nephew, William H. L. Belknap Jr. of Mattapoisett.
Her graveside service in Riverbend Cemetery in Westerly, R.I., will take place at a later date. Arrangements are with the Wilson Chapel, 479 County St. New Bedford, MA. www.wilsonchapel.net
