Theresa (Lemelin) Wilkinson, 94, of Westport passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at home. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Wilkinson, who passed away on January 17, they were married for 72 years.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late William and Mariana (Viens) Lemelin, she had lived in Westport since 1966. She was a Communicant of St. John the Baptist Church, Westport. Mrs. Wilkinson was a member of the Westport Seniors at Our Lady of Grace. She was an avid reader and enjoyed boating, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include 2 sons: Paul R. Wilkinson and his wife Judy of Tiverton and James R. Wilkinson and his wife Karen of Dighton; a sister: Anne Marie Couturier of Westport; 4 grandchildren: Ashley, Alexander, Andrew and Matthew; 5 great grandchildren: Karli Jo, Maegan, Benjamin, Hanna and Shay; and several nieces and nephews.
She was sister of the late William Lemelin.
Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, January 24, 2022 at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport at 11:30 A.M.
Visitation will be from 9 - 10:30 A.M. at the Potter Funeral Home prior to the Mass.
Interment will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
