Serge J. Exilien, aka "Bobby", was born on May 11, 1939 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti to his beloved parents Georges Exilien and Georgette Ricot Exilien. In 1969, he married his late wife Juslene and immigrated to the U.S. later that year. After spending some time in New York, he finally settled in Boston, Ma., 1971 where he would build a life for himself and his future family.
Bobby was a handyman at heart. He attended trade school in the States to receive his oil burner and heating license, but he did not stop there. He also got his plumbing and electrical license while working at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He later retired from Grimes Oil Company. No job was too big for him. He would also lend a helping hand. He loved to travel and listen to music. He loved his family and friends but, most of all, he adored his grandchildren.
Bobby is survived by his children: Cassandre, Serge David, and Georges. His sister Josette Louis, his brother Roosevelt Jean "Roro", his grandchildren: Teneh, Tarah, Tyler, Eric, andf Carla. His Goddaughter, Shayla Parks. His nieces and nephews: Yolette Coutard, Tatiana Louis, Dinnah Herolds, Sabrina Cantley, Vanessa Simeon, Jihane Jean, Antoine Roosevelt Buckmire, Reginald Louis, Carl S. Chavannes, Cecil P. Chavannes, Vladimir, Joseph Jean. His cousins Arnold Ricot, Danielle Ricot, Noella Ricot Pierrre, Ulma Ricot, Gladys Ricot, and all other family members and friends who loved him dearly.
Viewing hours will be on Monday January 31, 2022 from 9-10 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. Pius X Church located at 101 Wolcott Road, Milton, Ma. Burial will be immediately following the mass in Mount Hope Cemetery located at 355 Walk Hill Street, Roslindale, Ma.
