William (Billy) Foster (72) of Brockton died January 16th in the Massachusetts General Hospital. He was the husband of the late Shirley (Martin) Foster.
He was born in Cambridge son of the late Raymond Foster and Helen (McCaffrey) Foster. Billy was a retired truck driver for the All Ready Food Company and was a communicant of Christ the King Church. William was an Army Veteran and a mechanic by trade. Billy enjoyed flowers, traveling, fishing, storytelling, working with computers, helping others and shopping a.k.a Market Basket. He had a heart of gold, great sense of humor, a book of knowledge, hands on type of man and loved being with family.
Billy is survived by his brother George Foster of Missouri, 2 sisters, Alice Smith of Brighton and Kathleen Podeiko of Attleboro, (father of the late Paul, David and Stacey Foster), (brother of the late Raymond Foster), daughter-in-law April Foster of Brockton, 4 grandchildren, Jamie, Billy and wife Jessica, Zia and Kira, 3 great grandchildren, Aiven, Rocco and Greyson, many nieces and nephews and his dog Tequila.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Thursday January 20th from 4-6 pm. Rev. “Flathead Tom” Iddings officiating at 6 pm. Cremation to follow.
