Richard C. Hallett, age 76 of Hillsborough, New Hampshire died peacefully on January 16, 2022 at Genesis, Milford Center in Milford, MA surrounded by his family.
He was born on June 11, 1945 in Norwood, MA, and was the son of the late Russell S. Hallett and Eleanor A. (Carberry) Hallett. He was raised in Foxborough, MA, where he graduated from Boston Trade High School in 1964.
In 1975, he moved to Plainville, MA to raise his family and later settled in Hillsborough, NH in 2004.
He was a former US Marine, independent truck driver, construction worker, and a member of the local 88 while working on the big dig in Boston.
He cherished his time with family and friends, loved living life on the edge, and riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by his children, Nina Bain and her husband, Russell of Franklin, MA as well as Richard Cody Hallett and his wife, Remy of Holliston, MA.
Also surviving are his cherished grandchildren: Cole, Erica, Kayson, and Soryn. He was the brother to Walter Hallett of ME, Janice Hallett of NH, and Linda Case of NY as well as the late Marion Cook of MA, Ralph Hallett of NH, Kenneth Hallett NH, Margaret Dunn of FL, and Christine Hallett of NH. He is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, MA on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm with a funeral service immediately following.
Interment will take place at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery.
