BELMONT ---- Kathleen Dresser, 59, wife of David M. Dresser, Jr., passed away at home in Belmont, NH, on Friday, January 7, 2022.
Born December 31, 1962, in Neptune, NJ, she was the first member of her family born outside Jersey City and Hoboken, NJ since her ancestors arrived in the 1800s from Ireland, Germany, England, and Norway.
She was raised in Freehold, NJ, and was a member of the Freehold High School Class of 1981. She went on to further education and built a career as a paralegal primarily as a team member in the practice of personal injury law.
Kathy’s husband of 19 years, Bruce Zafarana, passed in 2015. She was also pre-deceased by her mother Margaret (Schenkerberg) McCauley in 2015. In addition to her husband David, she is survived by her father Robert J. McCauley and Georgette Delap, formerly of Gilford, NH, now of Boynton Beach, FL, brothers Kenneth (Sharon) McCauley of Stewartsville, NJ, and James (Theresa) McCauley of Belmont, NH. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, aunts, ten first cousins, stepchildren, and step-grandchildren. Over the years she also nurtured a large community of friends and co-workers that were very important in her life.
Kathy knew how to have fun and will be missed by all that knew her.
A service in her memory will be held on Monday, January 17 from 1:00pm-2:00pm in the Carriage House at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.
