Mildred L. (Conley) Foley, age 98, of East Bridgewater, formerly of Brockton, died peacefully at her home surrounded by family on January 12, 2022. She was the wife of the late James J. Foley, Sr. Born, raised and educated in Stoneham, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (MacMillan) Conley.
Mildred was a Certified Nurse’s Aide and worked at Harris Nursing Home in Brockton. For many years, she was a traveling Home Health Aide. During WWII she worked at the Navy yard in the Rope Walk Department. A longtime communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Mildred was a member of the Prayer and Legion of Mary groups

Mildred was very family oriented and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was fascinated with anything to do with medicine and also enjoyed reading and walking.
Mildred was the mother of Barbara Bartorelli of Brockton, Maureen Monahan of Raynham, Steven Foley of Middleboro, Kathleen McCabe and her husband Leon of East Bridgewater and the late Lorraine Prosper and James J. Foley, Jr. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Barbara Teramaco, Judy Allen, Marjory Muse, Edward Conley, Mary Conley, Doris Butler, Daniel Conley, Charles Conley and Joseph Conley.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday, January, 20 from 10am-12pm, with a Funeral Service at 12pm. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Please wear masks in the funeral home during the visitation and service.
