Patricia (Patty) Josephine Patracuollo, 70, of West Yarmouth, MA passed peacefully on Jan 10, 2022. She is the cherished mother of William John Ruane and Laurie Ruane Niro and mother-in-law of Aldo Niro, all of Milford.
Born February 8, 1951, in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Josephine R. (Catalano) Patracuollo of Franklin, MA.
Patty was raised in Franklin and a longtime resident of Milford before moving to Cape Cod.
Patty was a hard-working mother, waitressing for 25 years before moving on to work as an Outreach worker at Vinfen. Her life was dedicated to her children, grandchildren, and her three dogs.
Anyone who knew Patty knew her love of dancing and enjoyment of music. Walking her dogs, spending time at the beach, gardening, knitting, art, home improvement projects, traveling, and attending her grandchildren’s sporting activities, were just some of her favorite things to do. Her infectious smile could brighten up anybody’s gloomy day. She will be remembered by family and friends simply as a beautiful free spirit.
In addition to her two children, she is survived by her beloved grandchildren, Gianna Niro and William (Little Billy) Ruane of Milford. Also, Patty was the sister of Charles S. Patracuollo and his wife Linda of Stoughton, MA, Jean M Forte of Lake Stevens, WA, Frank J Patracuollo and his wife Karen of Mansfield, MA, Joseph J. Patracuollo and his wife Laura of Nolensville, TN, and Judy A. Tucker and her husband Randy of Franklin, MA.
She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews; Jen Riggs, Corinne Perchard, Joe and Tommy Forte, Christina Williams, Jennifer and Matthew DiRosario, Nicholas Patracuollo, Ashley and Chris Hall, Braedon Riggs, Jacson and Kynslie Perchard, Giuseppi, Luca, and Vincenzo Forte and many dear friends whom she loved very much.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the Charles F Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage St. Friday January 21st from 4-7PM.
A funeral mass will be held in St. Mary’s Church, Franklin, on Saturday January 22nd at 10AM.
Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
