STANDISH- Barbara Louise Fielding passed away peacefully, Friday New Year's Eve December 31, 2021, at the age of 93. Barbara was born in Portland, Maine to Eunice and John Pence.
She lived most of her adult life in Revere, Mass. and worked as a nurse's aid in Nursing Facility’s in the Revere area. In 1982 Ed and Barbara bought a cottage on Bonny Eagle Pond Rd, Standish, Maine. Edward was still working, and he would stay in Massachusetts, during the week and head up to Maine Saturday till Tuesday morning. THAT IS ONE WAY TO KEEP A MARRIAGE TOGETHER. Barbara was a good wife to Eddy. She was always cheery and has a good attitude. with a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. Barbara loved to read and spend time camping with the grandchildren. They became snowbirds and enjoyed spending winters in Florida. She was predeceased by her parents, daughter Suzanne Carone, son Dennis Michael Torris, and brother John (Bud) Pence. She is survived by her husband Edward Fielding III, Daughters Patricia Key (Walt) Jacksonville, Florida and Kathleen Faucett Austin Texas. Grandchildren Carmen, Susan, Rachael, Roxanne, and Jennifer. Great Grandchildren Allison, Megan, Jaden, Dylan and Phoenix. Barbara left this life at 93, saying I’m tired and done. She was a good woman and will be missed.
