Kenneth W. Stewart
U.S. Marine Corps Veteran
NASHUA, NH: Kenneth W. Stewart, age 76, a resident of Nashua, NH, formerly of Tewksbury, MA, passed away at Premiere Healthcare & Rehab at Greenbriar Terrace on Tuesday, December 28, 2021.
Born in Lowell on November 10, 1945, he was the son of the late John D. Stewart and the late Dorothy (Lavell) Stewart.
Kenneth was raised in Tewksbury, attended Tewksbury schools and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School.
Kenneth went to UMASS for college and graduated with an Associate's degree in Forestry.
In 1966, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and served during the Vietnam War. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the M-14 Rifle Expert Badge for his active-duty service.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed by MacMulkin Chevrolet in Nashua as a member of their auto sales team.
Ken loved hunting, going to as many Red Sox games as he could and loved spending time at the ocean.
Survivors include three children, Sherrilee (Stewart) Santarpio and her husband William Santarpio of Laconia, NH, Scott W. Stewart and his wife Crystal Stewart of Gilford, NH and Jennifer (Stewart) Watkins and her husband Sean Watkins of Auburn Maine. Seven grandchildren, Austin Hall, Brady Santarpio, Dominic Santarpio, Jasmine Stewart, Aria Stewart, Cooper Watkins and Lillyann Watkins. He also has a nephew, Alan Stewart and a niece Kimberly Stewart.
There are no services scheduled at this time. Placement of his ashes at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery is planned for a future date.
