Ralph A. Donovan, 84, of Derry, NH, died Wednesday January 12, 2022 in his home. He was born in Derry on October 5, 1937, a son of the late James Donovan and Ina Wilson, and had been a lifelong resident. He was the former co-owner of The Derry Diner, and RA Donovan Electric, Inc.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Nancy (Lloyd) Donovan of Derry; three sons, David Donovan, Jeffrey Donovan, and Robert Donovan; two step sons, Justin and Nicholas; two grandchildren, Sara Bureau and Christopher Donovan; three brothers, Harvey Donovan, Lester Donovan, and Richard Donovan; three sisters, Margaret Danner, Florence Presley, Ruth Wells; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brothers, Harold, James, Mahlon, Roger and Leon.
He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
Following cremation, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is assisting the family with arrangements.
