Well THIS didn’t go as planned!
Frank passed peacefully in his sleep, holding hands with his beloved wife of 53 years, Conchetta “Koni” Cataldo Palmisano.
Frank was born to the late Frances Taibi Palmisano Perkins and Frank Palmisano Sr., both of Boston.
Reluctantly leaving behind his big family, Frank is survived by his children, Carmine Palmisano and his wife Brennan of Medford, Frances Salamone and her husband Salvatore of Saugus, Vincent Palmisano and his wife Kristi of Georgetown and his “adopted” son Al Frallicciardi
Papa leaves behind his grandchildren, Frank Salamone and his fiance Melissa, Nicole Sirignano and her husband Alex, Stefani Palmisano, Christine Palmisano, Carmine Palmisano, Anthony Palmisano and his “adopted” granddaughter Olivia Arone.
Papa also leaves behind his Great Grandchildren, Emma and Nico Sirignano
Frank leaves his brothers Guy Palmisano and his late wife Mildred, Sal Palmisano and his late wife Jean, predeceased by his brother Joe Palmer and his wife Helen, Ann Pino and her husband Sam.
Also survived by his brother-in-law Nunzio Cataldo and his wife Susan, predeceased by his sister-in-law Christine Vita. Josephine Cataldo and the late Carmine Cataldo, his cherished mother and father-in-law. Frank leaves many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Frank was what we affectionately called a “car nut” his love of old car restoration, and all things related, was only rivaled by his passion for his family, spending many years in “the garage” and in his spare time, he worked for Boston Duck Tours for 25 years, made everyone laugh and loved his coworkers.
An avid boater, Frank spent 24 years as a member of the Winter Hill Yacht Club in Somerville where he grew to know so many dear friends, sharing countless memories.
Sadly Frank also leaves behind his “girlfriend”, his dog Gladys.
Relatives & friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Saturday January 15th at 10:30 AM followed by his Funeral Mass celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 11:30 AM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday January 14th from 4-8 PM.
