Jimmie Lee "Jim" Norrick, 82, of Anderson, died Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Community Hospital Anderson.
He was born on December 20, 1939 in Gleason, Indiana, the son of Victor and Mary (Trick) Norrick.
He was employed by General Motors- Delco Remy for over 50 years, working as a journeyman and tool and die maker. He was a member of the UAW 663, and enjoyed golfing. He served in the Army National Guard, taught classes at the Anderson Vocational School and in the 1960' s was a member of the Delco Remy bowling team.
He is survived by his son, Scott (Jodi) Norrick; daughter, Michele Bailey; grandchildren, Brandon(Erin) Bailey, Zachary Bailey, Vincent Scott (Allison) Norrick, Preston (Selby) Norrick, Devin (Lilly) Norrick, Alyssa (Jonathan) Culp, Quentin (Anna Pearson) Norrick; great grandchildren, Gavin, Ryder, Rogan, Amayah, and Mia; brother, Jack Norrick; sister, Verilla Johnson, and several nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Latimer Norrick in 2013 and his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 12 noon, at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service, officiated by Pastor Carl Lamb.
Burial will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Friday at the Estates of Serenity Cemetery in Marion.
Visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home beginning at 10 a.m. until the service at noon.
