Willadeen Rogers, 87, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, January 10, 2022, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at New Hope Cemetery in Coffee County, Georgia, with the Rev. James Jordan officiating.
Mrs. Rogers was born March 23, 1934, in Coffee County, Georgia, to the late James Monroe & Reed Walsh Miller. She worked in the strawberry fields when she lived in Florida, Campbell Soup and Fitzgerald Underwear. Mrs. Rogers was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, fishing and cooking for her family.
She is survived by her children: Jerry Miller of Melbourne, Florida, Glenda Brooks of Tallahassee, Florida, Wesley Meaker & Gina of Fitzgerald, Ray Meaker of Tennessee, Vance Rogers & Donna of Wray and Bonnie Sue Rogers Douglas of Fitzgerald; nine grandchildren: Tammie Smith, Karen Duncan & Rich, Jennifer Carey & Stephen, Steven Meaker & Caitlin, Autumn Riley & Justin, Courtney Rogers, Galanis Papachristou & April, Clay Rogers & Sara and Michael Meaker; 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Rogers; three brothers and three sisters.
