Edwin Harold “Hal” Hawkins, 69, of Tifton passed away Monday, January 10, 2022, at his residence. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2020, at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born February 18, 1952, in Milledgeville, Mr. Hawkins was the son of the late Rolin Harold Hawkins and Margie Dunn Hawkins. He graduated from Tift County High School and he was a retired salesman. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved his kids and his granddaughter and he loved his cat, Leo. He also loved the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves and he was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Mr. Hawkins is survived by the mother of his children, Jane Olthoff Hawkins of Tifton; one son and daughter-in-law, Spencer and Amy Hawkins of Tifton; one daughter and son-in-law, Natalie Hawkins and Lewis Smith of Tifton; one sister, Judy Hawkins Allen of Atlanta; and his granddaughter, Ashtyn “Tate” Hawkins.
