Fall River – Carol Ann Perry, age 77, passed away to be with the Lord on December 29, 2021. She was at home, surrounded by her family and friends.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband Henry B. Perry Jr., who passed away in 2016. Carol is survived by her eldest son Steven Perry and daughter-in-law Connie Perry of Fall River, and her daughter Lisa Perry of Coventry, RI. She was blessed to have 5 grandchildren: Sarah and Lillian Correia of Coventry, RI, Kaelan and Chris Roberts of Fall River, and Jaimee Castillo of Liberal, KS. Carol also enjoyed spending time with her 2 great-grandchildren: Sophia and Manny Castillo of Liberal, KS. She is also survived by her brother Herbert Robinson of Marshfield, MA and sister Barbara Blier of Dartmouth, MA.
Carol was born in New Bedford to the late Donald and Elizabeth Robinson.
Some of Carol's proudest accomplishments were graduating from La Baron Hairdressing Academy in New Bedford in her younger years. She also became a nurse's aide and had worked in local hospitals. For the last 12 years, Carol found her true passion as the green room "mom," making sure celebrity guests, artists, and agents were well cared for, and no one was left with an empty plate during their time at Altered Reality Entertainment comic con events. Some of her favorite comic con events were Rhode Island Comic Con, ComiCONN at Foxwoods, and Colorado Springs Comic Con. She is loved and adored by the entire staff.
Her celebration of life ceremony will be January 11, 2022, at Perry Funeral Home located at 111 Dartmouth St. New Bedford, MA. The service will be from 5 to 7 PM, where family and friends may come as they wish to pay their respects.
