Jeannine Dawn (Allee) Turner, 83, of Anderson, died January 10, 2022 at Miller's Merry Manor in Chesterfield after a brief illness.
She was born October 12, 1938 in Brazil, the daughter of Thomas and Maxine (Blubaugh) Allee.
She was a member of Southern Heights Christian Church. She enjoyed family time, was an avid bowler, a member of ABWA and Mothers of Twins Club.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Melvin Turner of Anderson, whom she married July 21, 1956 in Brazil; four children, Curt (Joe Watson) Turner of Indianapolis, Ronda (Gary) Wilson of Chesterfield; Fonda (Jim) Mullins of Anderson and Sally (Elwyn) Downes of Chesterfield; three grandchildren, Joshua (Mary) Mullins of Anderson, Jordan Mullins of Anderson and Morgan Downes of Chesterfield; three great-grandchildren, Callie Mullins, Harrison Mullins and Quinn Mullins all of Anderson; two sisters, Connie McClure of Rockville, and Billie Jo Vangilder of Florida; two sisters-in-law, Ann Reed of Brown County and Loraine (Bob) Decker of Brazil; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Dala Bussing.
Service will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Robert Hendrickson officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from noon until the 1 p.m. service.
Family requests that masks be worn during the visitation and funeral services.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
