Joan M. (Haltigan) Martinsenof Brooklyn, NY, died Friday April 21, 2006 in the Home & Hospice Center, Providence, RI.
Born November 2, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY, a daughter of Evelyn G. (Rollins) Haltigan of Greenville, RI and the late James J. Haltigan.
Along with her mother, she is survived by her sons, Bryon E. Martinsen of Long Island, NY, Gregg E. Martinsen of Clarence, NY, and Kevin J. Martinsen of Mahopac, NY, their father, Edwin Martinsen of Brooklyn, NY, a brother, John J. Haltigan of Naples, FL, a sister, Lynne P. Giglio of Glocester, RI and 10 grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 26 at 11:00am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Smithfield, RI. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island, 50 Maude St, Providence, RI 02908.
